For the few lessons we needed, he's an excellent tutor. He prepares for the lesson, keeps parents aligned to progress, engages children with his teaching. His biggest asset is that children become more involved in setting up time, independent in driving lessons forwards and 1-1 comms. His prep with SQA adv Higher Chem and N5 Maths is promising in learning the curriculum, the learning resources as a way of substantiating since he's not taught these specifically.

My 9 year old son had only 2 math lessons so far with the first lesson being completely complimentary as Waleed wanted to ensure that both of us were happy with both the delivery and content being taught during the lesson. This is very rare as I have experienced majority of tutors dive straight into asking how many lessons we would like and talking about the lesson fees. However, Waleed was more interested in actually helping my son reach full potential. I also liked how Waleed explained the different types techniques that could be used. First class tution! I have had quite a few lessons with Waleed in preparation for my second year engineering exams at Oxford university. He has been amazing in helping me to understand topics that I was really struggling with and made sure that I am able to answer a range of questions on these topics. The lessons are always very well organized and cover everything needed within the topic, as well as suggesting some questions to complete after the lesson to check your understanding. Waleed is always very prepared and professional and wastes no time during the lessons. He adapts the lessons based on the past papers to make sure that we cover the most important topics. Not sure what I would have done without my lessons with Waleed, they have taken me from struggling to feeling confident for my exams.
